Design flooring as an all-rounder for bathrooms, kitchens and co.

Design flooring, also known as vinyl flooring, has already established itself as a popular floor covering in living rooms, bedrooms and children's rooms. For a long time, tiles were mainly used for damp rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens. But many people don't realise that designer floors are also an ideal choice for these rooms. With their warmth underfoot, robustness and variety of looks, modern design floors offer numerous design options and many advantages over conventional floor coverings.

The versatility of vinyl flooring

Vinyl as a floor covering has been around for a long time, formerly sold under the name CV flooring on rolls. However, it only gained its true popularity when it adopted the format of laminate flooring and was offered as a single plank. This enabled a more authentic look and the popular "click" method from the laminate sector was simply transferred to vinyl. In this form, design flooring became a serious competitor to tiles and other floor coverings.

Different installation variants

There are different installation variants for design flooring , including the thinner adhesive variant, which is glued to the entire surface of the subfloor, and the floating click variant, which can be removed again without leaving any residue. These variants are particularly suitable for rental properties. The design flooring products from INKU offer a wide selection of designs in both variants.

A variety of floor looks

Design floors visually imitate different floor coverings such as tiles or wood. Tile or stone looks are often in demand in the kitchen or bathroom, while classic wood looks are favoured in the living area. Modern designs also offer a variety of mosaic and fantasy decors. Compared to tiles, designer floors offer greater walking comfort, better acoustics and are easy to clean, which also makes them suitable for allergy sufferers.

Robustness and ease of care for design floors

Design floors are extremely robust and much more forgiving than tiles, especially in the kitchen, where something is often dropped on the floor. Stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth without leaving any residue or long-term damage. The different wear layers of INKU design floors also allow them to be adapted to the respective requirements of different areas of use, whether in the private or commercial sector.
